Ok, dear reader, (haha) we are trying something new today! A little bit of a new look to the blog. If you never try, you can never fail, right?:) Anyway, onward to Molly and Paul!

We had a lot of fun – they are pretty easy-going and were willing to try anything, including coming up with their own poses!

These two were dynamic, hilarious, goofy, and I think their true selves really came out in this session!

Molly and Paul – thanks SO much for a great session and I can’t wait for your wedding in September! Epic!
I met up with Molly and Paul in Lincoln Park for their engagement session. Little did I know how fun (and funny!) these two really are! Check out the outtake of Paul’s (fake) proposal re-enactment. And Molly’s priceless reaction:)

More photos to come!
It is that time again – we are moving into fall, the kids have started school, the sweaters are out, and the leaves are turning. We are excited to be releasing some new Holiday Card Designs for 2010. Take a look!

These cards are all 5×7 flat two-sided cards with envelopes, that are customized with your photos and a personal message.

There are several different paper surfaces: semi-gloss (standard), linen (my fave), watercolor, and pearl (my other fave).

Two Fronts:

And the two backs to the above cards:

If you are interested in purchasing custom cards, you can either:

This post is a little late in happening, as their wedding just took place, but I wanted to get Elizabeth and Chris’ e-session up on the blog. These two are two very sweet, very intelligent folks. They both live in Boston and attend MIT University. Their families are here and they planned their wedding to be held at University Club in Chicago. They were pretty busy with school and weren’t really going to be back in Chicago til their wedding, so what to do about their engagement session? Well, it just so happens that I had planned a trip to Boston and we figured out how we could hook up in Falmouth, MA. Pretty beautiful place!
Check out what we captured:

My favorite shot of the day!

Yes I did this on purpose:)

Stay tuned for some wedding images from their amazing day coming up soon!
Jack is the son of friends and clients Emily and Brian – I shot their wedding back in 2007, and when Jack came around last year, we did some newborn photos – you can spot a few on my website. Well, Jack is a little older now, and mobile, so we went to the park to run around a bit. And run he did! Here’s a sneak peek:

I would totally make a canvas out of this one!

He was all over!

Thanks guys – can’t wait to show you more at your viewing session!~

You may remember Laura and Mark from their E-session here. They had a stellar and amazing wedding two Fridays ago at the University Club in Chicago. Here’s a sneak peak until I can get a whole blog post up:

Here is a little sneak peak of this new baby:

Thanks Jim, Tory, Johnny, and Rosie!
Eileen and Drew – what can I say about them?! More amazing clients! I will just let the photos do the talking:

They said they were a little nervous to be photographed, but come on! Are you kidding me? They were total pro’s!

My favorite shot of the day!

Thanks so much you guys – I had a blast The big day is coming up soon!!!!
Mary and Clint live in Wisconsin and wanted to have their engagement session somewhere in a natural location, since we are mostly going to do city shots on their wedding day. The lagoon by the Peggy Notabaert Nature Museum and another top secret location nearby suited them perfectly!
Take a look at what we got:

Yes, Clint is a tall drink of water!:)

Top secret location!:)

I asked them to get down on their elbows for this next shot and they were like, ummm, we have to kneel down on the ground? But they did and I’m SO glad I have great clients that trust my seemingly crazy requests to get great photos!

A nice portrait and a little sun flare to boot….

A Perfect ending….

Thanks so much Guys! Your Guest Sign-in book looks amazing with all your photos! Can’t wait for October!:)
This little darlin’ is the daughter of a wedding client of mine from 2007. She is 7 months and her mom wanted to get a few shots of her family and little Elizabeth in her christening gown.

She is too cute!

And such a good baby!

After a quick outfit change, we headed outside to shoot some in Grant Park. We didn’t stay too long because it was just too darn hot and humid!

Back inside for some cute baby feet:

And tiny hands:

Thanks so much Grace! Can’t wait to photograph you guys again!
